We are seeking an IT Co-Op to join our team and provide hands-on support for a variety of IT-related tasks. This role is ideal for students looking to gain practical experience in IT operations while developing essential technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide Level 1 IT support and troubleshoot Service Desk issues.
- Manage ticketing systems, including creating, dispatching, and resolving tickets.
- Assist with IT inventory management and procurement.
- Perform computer preventative maintenance.
- Configure, stage, and deploy laptops and other devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes and systems.
- Assist with assorted IT tasks and application administration as needed.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of hardware support and maintenance.
- Familiarity with computer information systems fundamentals.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with remote desktop software is a plus.
- Currently enrolled in a high school Computer Information Systems program or equivalent coursework.
