ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Ensuring that the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system or program.
+ Assisting the senior agency information security officer in the identification, implementation, and assessment of the common security controls
+ Playing a support role in developing and updating the system security plan as well as supporting coordination with the information system owner any changes to the system and assessing the security impact of those changes.
+ Collaborating with senior personnel and other team members to assess security risks, and any mitigation responses to ensure the system’s overall security posture is maintained.
+ Assisting in the development of security documentation, such as security plans, procedures, and guidelines and will be responsible for updating these documentations with any changes.
+ Working under the guidance of senior security professionals and actively participating in security-related initiatives that may impact the overall security posture for the system or program they are responsible for.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline and four (4) years of position-specific relevant experience.
+ Experience with IA tools in audit collection, audit review, audit management, and SIEM software.
+ Experience in program planning and Agile Scrum project planning, execution and management, and Jira and Confluence tools.
+ DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on Task Order.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience and/or certifications associated with Risk Management Framework (RMF), ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 or DCID 6/3.
+ Experience in current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD. Program planning certifications, e.g., Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), Scaled Agile, etc.
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
+ Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
