About the Job
Description SAIC is seeking a self-driven and motivated ISSE to lead system accreditation for a critical customer organization.
The candidate will work with the customer to establish processes, procedures and a plan for tracking status of accreditations and updates for mission systems.
The individual will be the subject matter expert for ensuring proper documentation, procedures, and methods are generated to achieve and maintain system accreditation.
The candidate will embed with program teams to learn the details of their systems, and then will draft documentation for accreditation packages.
The candidate will be the primary interface with customer security and their information systems security managers who are responsible for accreditation approval.
Qualifications
• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly clearance
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree, or commensurate experience can be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with the customer's authorization and accreditation process and requirements
• Ability to initiate, write and complete all required documentation (77 critical controls, CONOP, Triage, SSP, and ATD/ATO) and facilitate completion of the remainder with customer PMs and contractors
• Current knowledge of sponsor regulations and mandates to ensure systems maintain compliance, working with customer PMs and contractors to maintain that status
• Experience developing system security schedules for each accreditation boundary for all mission systems and all new hardware devices
• Familiarity with how to obtain software waivers as necessary
• Ability to validate server patches and operating system updates and ensure they are deployed in a timely fashion as defined by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)
• Ability to modify documentation as technical development efforts dictate, maintaining configuration control on documentation SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.

Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
