IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) seeks an experienced JourneymanInformation Systems Security Engineer to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. ITC will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions, including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops and implements security concepts, controls, and mechanisms.
• Enforces information systems security policies, ensuring system security requirements are addressed.
• Ensures readiness of all packages for Authorization and Accreditation (A&A).
• Ensures system designs support the incorporation of cyber security vulnerability solutions.
• Conducts certification and testing following the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) policy.
• Analyzes test results, identifies deficiencies, and provides recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Creates systems and applications security test plans and performs hands-on security testing leveraging adversarial tactics.

Location: On-site in Fayetteville, NC

Requirements

• Junior level: 0-3 years relevant experience and a BA/BS degree,

• Journeyman level: A Bachelor's degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience

• Senior level: 10 years of experience and an MA/MS degree.

• Substitutions for education:

• Associate’s degree plus 4 years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree
• 6 years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• 12 years of work experience may be substituted for a master’s degree

Preferred Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work with teams but is self-motivated to complete projects independently.
• Ability to work entirely on-site with minimal accommodation

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have active DOD Secret clearance
