About the Job
The Information Systems Manager is responsible for project management and multi-module functional support of PeopleSoft HCM, Kronos, Taleo and various HR related applications. The Peoplesoft Application Manager is responsible for managing the development of requirements and functional design documents, data profiling & analysis for troubleshooting, system configuration, testing system changes & releases and production support activities.
These responsibilities support the development, installation, implementation, and maintenance of both purchased and in-house developed Enterprise Business or related Information Systems to accommodate on-line transactions processing, and reporting of information on behalf of all levels of Institutional Management and External Stakeholders.

Service Delivery / Demand Management
Ensure clear and consistent communication with other work units both inside and outside the department or division. Maintain working knowledge of customer's business processes & operations. Develop and implement system support processes that increase efficiencies and reduce delivery time to the customer.
Maintain work processes that are well organized and efficient; ensure clear and consistent communication with employees within team, management and with customers. Establish standardized work intake, prioritization and resource allocation procedures
Talent Management
Manages recruiting, hiring and performance of staff within unit, provides development opportunities and ongoing feedback including facilitation of goal achievement, career development plans and rewards for employees within unit.
Technology Management
Ensure people, process and technology are in place to develop and / maintain reliable and effective technology platforms. Maintain working knowledge of Peoplesoft HCM, Kronos, Taleo functionality as well various HR related applications.
Administration
• Stay abreast of regulatory, technology and business trends impacting information management solutions.
• Assist the Associate Director and/or Director advancing the department mission, vision, budget, policies, and procedures
• Assist the Associate Director and/or Director and management team to prepare technology strategies and roadmaps to aligned workgroups and steering teams.
Other duties as assigned
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Education:
Master's degree
Experience Required:
Seven years of experience in information technology services, to include two years supervisory/management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
Preferred Experience:
Experience managing HR systems.

5 years of managerial experience
