We are seeking an experienced Permanent Information Security System Manager (ISSM) to join our dynamic technology team. You will be responsible for the overall management and enforcement of our organization's information security program. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of security protocols, policies, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF). With your expertise, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from potential security threats.
Responsibilities:
As an Information Security System Manager (ISSM), you will:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
2. Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes.
3. Develop and enhance an information security management framework.
4. Understand and interact with related disciplines to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services.
5. Provide leadership, direction, and guidance in assessing and evaluating information security risks and monitor compliance with security standards and appropriate policies.
6. Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
7. Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns.

Must Haves:
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
- Expert with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) - ITIL preferred
- Strong client/customer-facing experience with hands-on training/presentation experience with staff
- Hands-on with Nessus, NMAP, and Wireshark
- Strong software/hardware security implementation skills and communication protocol experience
- Configuration management tool experience
- In-depth knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and NIST Cybersecurity policies
- Experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience advising customers on the implementation of insider threat and privacy protection protocols
- Expert with Information Assurance concepts, procedures, and processes
- Strong network device and server operating systems configuration skills
- Extensive knowledge of network, system security engineering, software, and firmware
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Security+ or CISSP certification
Pluses:
- Tenable Nessus scanner experience
- Splunk script development experience for log insight
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, etc.
