About the Job
The Information Security Manager role is located onsite in El Paso, TX. The Information Security Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information security policies, practices, and team. The Information Security Manager ensures the company complies with security regulations. The Information Security Manager mitigates security risks, and maintains high standards for protecting sensitive data and systems. The Information Security Manager will work closely with senior leadership, external auditors, and internal teams to implement security measures across all operations. The Information Security Manager will lead, mentor, and manage a team of Information Security Professionals.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and oversee security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Coordinate security operations across all global locations, ensuring consistent protection of the organization’s information assets.
· Manage and monitor information security data sources to maintain organizational situational awareness.
· Develop and execute a comprehensive audit calendar for global audits and ensure accountability within the team.
· Lead on-site security assessments by third-party QSA partners and on-site audits performed by clients.
· Respond to security audit questionnaires from clients and provide expert guidance.
· Administer internal security audits for client and physical site audits, ensuring any identified issues are remediated effectively.
· Recommend and implement risk mitigation solutions based on audit findings.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- ·Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- · Field Experience: Minimum of six years of experience in Information Security with at least two years in a management role.
- Position Experience: Proven experience in overseeing security operations and managing a security team.
- Must be available for travel to DATAMARK global sites as needed
- Knowledge of Information Security policies and practices
- In-depth understanding of security technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, encryption, network security) and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and experience managing audits.
- Experience in an IT Security environment preferred
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar are required.
