Title: Information Security Engineer
Location: Northeastern United States (Hybrid)

Description:
• We are seeking an Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions and systems.
• This role involves collaborating with business units, ensuring security policies and standards are upheld, and streamlining processes through automation.
• The position requires strong expertise in system and network security, authentication protocols, and identity access management while managing security incidents and maintaining technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engineer and implement security projects, monitor systems, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with single sign-on (SSO) solutions using identity providers.
• Automate privileged access management processes and manage system configurations for baseline security.
• Enforce security hardening standards for core services such as directories and network protocols.
• Develop and deploy security guardrails for cloud infrastructure through infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Handle troubleshooting, manage security incidents, and create resolution plans.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including playbooks and procedural guidelines.
• Build robust security metrics and reports using analytics tools.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of security engineering principles, system and network security, and incident management.
• Proficiency in identity access management tools, including SSO and federation standards such as SAML and OIDC.
• Expertise in securing cloud platforms and resources through established practices.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and operating systems (Linux and Windows).
• Proficiency in security event management platforms and dashboard creation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.
• Proficiency in automation tools and languages like Python, PowerShell, and Git for infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and CSA.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in creating security guidelines, playbooks, and process documentation.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines for multiple enterprise-level projects.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Terragrunt, and infrastructure as code practices.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $56-$81/Hr
