The ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Administrator will be a crucial member of the Vulnerability Management team, performing hands-on support for end-users, day-to-day maintenance, planning, and testing system upgrades, coaching other team members on best practices, as well as troubleshooting advanced custom applications. The ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Administrator will work with architects, developers, and other product members in the fulfillment of updates, fixes, and new features within our key application, ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (SN VR).
- Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of the ServiceNow environments (Dev, Test, and Production Instances). Conduct routine health assessments, ensuring peak performance and availability.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow security policies, roles, and access controls, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular application updates and patches, ensuring system stability and security compliance
- Lead Support interactions with Cases, Changes and Requests, and escalations.
- Administer software and plugin upgrades, Establish a rollback plan for upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption in case of unforeseen issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify workflow requirements and streamline business processes.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow Performance Analytics dashboards and indicators to provide insights into platform usage and performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow Vulnerability Response capabilities, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless communication.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Document project-related configurations, customizations, and integrations, capturing lessons learned and best practices for future reference.
- Technical experience with ServiceNow CMDB capabilities to drive improvements in matching discovered items from various scanners to configuration items and application services by tuning CI lookup rules.
- Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow platform experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Basic understanding of risk management is helpful for understanding how organizations might prioritize certain systems, environments, or assets within VR.
- Basic understanding of policy and compliance management is helpful when trying to automate compliance across various sources or standards from your compliance monitoring tools’ findings.
- Python, Angular/React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and API development experience is necessary
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator - highly preferred
- ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Certified OR CIS-VR (Certified Implementation Specialist in Vulnerability Response) - desired If they do not have this then they need to demonstrate in the resume they have done extensive development, management, administration and operational work in the VR modules.
- ServiceNow Performance Analytics training - desired
- ServiceNow CMDB training - desired
- ITIL4 - desired
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Services, or related field
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $50.63/hour-$67.50/hour
