Marathon TS is seeking an Information Assurance Security Administrator for a full time role on a temporary engagement. This position is expected to last between 5-7 months filling in for a resource that is on another deployment.
The role is in Montgomery AL and will require 4 days onsite with 1 day remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configures and validates secure systems; tests security products and systems to detect security weakness.
- Conducts regular audits to ensure that systems are being operated securely, and computer security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans.
- Prepares materials and responds to request for computer security education/awareness programs.
- Duties include analysis of mission requirements, secure architecture design, organizational and vulnerability assessments, intelligence and threat analysis; system security/network analysis.
- Performs duties on tasks that require expertise in firewall implementation/configuration/administration/maintenance, Intrusion Protection Systems/Intrusion Detection Systems, Security Information and Event Management, physical security analysis of facilities, emergency preparedness, security assessment/risk analysis, security design of local area networks and wide area networks, security analysis of network operating systems and applications, continuity of operations, planning, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledgeable with current technological environments such as the Internet, Client/Server, Microsoft Operating System (OS) software, VMware vSphere, Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls or similar devices and systems implementation within a networked environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline/field
- Four (4) years of experience. Or five (5) years of experience in performing tasks in functional area
- PREFERRED: Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Certification (Level 4 or higher), or similar Network Security Certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or comparable preferred
