Information Assurance Policy Executive
Position Summary:
As Policy Executive, you will provide policy-writing support to Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). The effort includes creation, review, revision, and maintenance of command policy and technical documents in support of the accreditation process from Step 1 thru Step 6 as needed. This work is to be performed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

Position Summary:
As Policy Executive, you will provide policy-writing support to Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). The effort includes creation, review, revision, and maintenance of command policy and technical documents in support of the accreditation process from Step 1 thru Step 6 as needed. This work is to be performed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Develop and maintain NSWCPD command policy documents
- Support the development of RMF A&A package documentation required for ATO-submission in accordance with DoD/NAVSEA directives, which includes the following components:
- System Categorization Form
- Information System Continuous Monitoring Strategy (ISCM)
- Security Plan (SP)
- Step Concurrence forms
- Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M)
- Security Assessment Plan (SAP)
- Security Assessment Report (SAR)
- Risk Assessment Summary
- Security Authorization Package
- Package Endorsement Letters
- Follow the published Navy, NAVSEA Business Rules, and PIT Validation guidance when preparing A&A packages.
- Support the development and maintenance of a Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) for all IA-related tasks and deliverables in accordance with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)
- Input reports in JIRA, eMASS, or deliver in MS Office-products/Visio formats, as appropriate
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English or engineering degree. Equivalent work experience may be substituted at a rate of 2 years' experience equals 1 year of education.
- Must be IAM Level II compliant (CISSP or equivalent certification)
- Two (2) years' experience with DIACAP or RMF package creation.
- Four (4) years relevant experience with extensive expertise and knowledge of writing:
- Policies
- Technical documents
- Strategic plans
- Designs
- IA operations
- Procedures
- Demonstrates experience in strong organizational, communications, and presentation skills.
- Experience as a project leader for projects with complex or voluminous documentation providing or coordinating special documentation services as required
- Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
- Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
- Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
