Infection Preventionist-RNQualifications & Responsibilities:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Wound care/infection preventionexperience preferred, not required
• Infection PreventionTraining offered
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
• Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN may be considered 

Infection Preventionist-RN Schedules & Benefits:

• Schedule:  Full time, 8a-5p Mon-Fri, with on call requirements
• Daily Pay Option
