Infection Control RN - Cortland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing

Cortland Park is searching for a Skin/Wounds RN and Infection Control RN to join our growing team.

Requirements:

• Must have a current New York State RN Licensure and be in good standing on the Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Communicate orally in writing with residents, families, co-workers and the public.
• Must be able to pass physical examination upon offer of employment.
• Must be approved to work through the Criminal Background Check Program.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to walk around the unit.
• Must be able to stoop; kneel; crouch; reach; push; pull; climb; lift and carry heavy objects and be able to turn, handle and manipulate minor medical equipment.

Duties:

• Responsible for the Infection Control process facility wide and preparing/submitting reports quarterly at Pharmacy/Infection Control Meetings.
• Submits monthly Infection Control Reports to the Administrator and Directorr of Nursing. 
• Responsible for the Quality Improvement Plan for the facility Infection Control process.
• Submits quarterly Infection Control Reports to thhe Quality Improvement Council.
