Industrial Warehouse Shift Manager

Currently collaborating with a distributor seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead daily warehouse operations. This Warehouse Shift Manager will supervise warehouse staff, while ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, streamlining workflow processes, and promoting a safe, productive work environment.

Must have:

• 4 year degree in related field
• 5-6yrs supervisor/leadership experience in a warehouse setting
• Lean Six Sigma certification and experience
• Warehouse Management Systems(WMS) and Microsoft Office applications skills
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, warehouse safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Strong process improvement skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity, implementing changes as needed
• Ensure that goods are handled and stored in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
