Industrial Sales Representative - Commercial Pumps and Controllers - Base Salary to 90k/year - Baltimore, MD

• Founded over 40 years ago, our client in the Commercial Pumps, Water Filtration and Preventative Maintenance space provides solutions for existing buildings and new construction. They are experiencing tremendous growth and looking to double their revenue within the next 5 years!
• They are currently looking to hire an Industrial Sales Representative (internally titled Municipal Sales Representative) to join their team. This position will foster and maintain relationships with Key Municipal personnel and industrial accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell Commercial Pumps, Water Filtration, Fire Pumps/Controllers and Preventative Maintenance solutions to Municipal accounts throughout the VA, DC, and MD territory.
• Outside in the field 3-4 days/week visiting customers and prospects (work from your home office the other time to handle any administrative work necessary).
• Work with the service team internally to ensure the customers are receiving proper care, and coordinate with the estimating team and engineering teams for pricing and selections

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience selling industrial products into Municipalities (prefer industrial pumps/mechanical/engineering products)
• Reside within Northern VA, DC or MD
• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and experience with a CRM system

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 70k - 90k/year range, plus commissions
