Position Overview:
Performs technical sales functions by selling and marketing Surface Enhancement and Plating solutions (technology, products, services, and automation) as a Territory Sales Manager for SIFCO ASC's western territory (CA, WA, OR, UT, CO, NV, ID, and MT)
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver profitable sales growth. Maintain and develop existing accounts by promoting ways of improving overall contribution, selling new product lines, and custom solutions.
- Identify and pursue potential new and existing business opportunities.
- Introduce new products and cost-reduction programs to aid customer processes.
- Collaborate with all commercial team functions to meet customer expectations and objectives.
- Identify prospects and assess product needs while supporting product development and research ideas.
- Responsible for initiating sales and pricing negotiations to achieve margins at desired levels.
- Manage and maintain updated CRM, including pipeline, prospects and account plans, to enable business decisions and execution.
- Provide inputs into budget and forecast processes and own annual budget commitment.
- Comply with all Company Policies: including but not limited to; Code of Conduct and expense reporting, etc.
- Ownership of individual development plan (IDP) as agreed upon with direct line manager.
- Implement and drive an internal value-based selling approach through the customer engagement and account management process.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Highly motivated individual with excellent situational awareness; ability to assess technical detail regarding customer’s material needs.
- Strongly analytical with ability to quickly identify opportunities for growth as well as the best and most correct path to penetrate an organization to reach the key decision-makers.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills. Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, PowerPoint, and on-line CRM systems.
- B.S. degree with a technical or business major or demonstrably equivalent experience in industrial sales.
- Advanced degree in business is beneficial.
- Responsible for completing 4-6 months of training at the headquarters site on the SIFCO Process, systems, and selling tools.
- 2- 5 years in a technical sales role of engineered products (non-consumer)
- The ability to meet with various levels of management to communicate product offerings

Physical Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel 50% of the time (typically week out/week in), but more frequently as necessitated by prospect/customer needs and work extended hours when necessary
- Sit for long periods of time
- Work on a computer for long periods of time
- May occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where in certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment
In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $115,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position also qualifies for sales incentive compensation, which is calculated from sales generated from new and existing customers and subject to change at the discretion of Quaker Houghton.
