Position Overview:
As an Industrial Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing production lines, developing cost-saving and efficiency-driven upgrades, and designing and procuring new process equipment and production lines. Your expertise in liquid and powder batching, mixing, and filling processes within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) sector will be critical to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Production Line Maintenance:
- Ensure efficient operation and regular maintenance of existing manufacturing lines to meet production targets and quality standards
- Process Optimization and Upgrades:
- Analyze and identify opportunities to improve existing production lines for cost savings, efficiency, and adaptation to new product specifications
- Develop and implement modifications to production processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Design and Procurement of New Equipment:
- Lead the design, specification, and procurement of new process equipment and production lines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product development and manufacturing goals
- Innovation and Leadership:
- Serve as a key contributor to innovation initiatives, supporting the development of new products and production methodologies
- Define and establish best practices for process engineering within the facility
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or a related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CPG manufacturing, with expertise in liquid and powder batching, mixing, and filling processes
- Proven track record in maintaining and improving manufacturing lines, as well as designing and procuring new process equipment
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in manufacturing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments
