About the Job
Intermountain Electronics (IE) is seeking a skilled industrial painter for our Second Shift. This shift works 4 - ten hour shifts 4 days a week -3:00 pm to 1:30 am.

What sort of painting experience do you have? Automotive painting, coatings, spray applications, powder coating, sandblasting, or airbrushing on a large scale might fit IE projects. We prepare surfaces, select tools, and apply precision finishes. The items we paint range from small to as big as a semi-truck in size. Note: You will need a respirator fit test for this work.

Required Experience:
- Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and safety procedures of the painting trade
- Two-year experience as an industrial painter, one year training or education in painting at a recognized trade school or apprenticeship program preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to determine painting needs and methods to meet them
- Read and implement painting blueprints/ plan specifications
- Ability to meet expected quality painting requirements
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Work at heights up to 20 feet
- Must be able to pass a pulmonary functions test
- Able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Color Vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus; Frequently stand; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
