Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanical Project Manager to join our team for a 9-month-plus contract assignment. The role involves managing all aspects of a large-scale project, currently in the construction phase, ensuring it stays within scope, meets budgetary and scheduling goals, and adheres to high-quality standards. The position requires close collaboration with Field Operations Managers to document and oversee the project scope, deliverables, risks, and success metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project lifecycle from concept to completion.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects remain within scope.
- Collaborate with Field Operations Managers to define project deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, and success measures.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Utilize Procore software and other project management tools to track progress and facilitate coordination.
- Lead meetings, provide updates, and resolve project-related challenges.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Project Management experience in an industrial or mechanical environment.
- Proficiency with project management software, especially Procore (other software familiarity is a plus: Autodesk, Smartsheet, Contractor Foreman, etc.).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and ensuring projects meet quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification.
- Familiarity with design-build processes and fabrication drawing collaboration.
Details:
- Contract Duration: 9+ months.
- Hourly Pay Range: $50$64 per hour.
- Start Date: January 2025 (post-interview and holiday schedules).
- Location: On-site management for a large project at a Purina Dog Plant.
