Title: Packaging Operator 3
Hours are 6pm-6:30am on the same rotating 2 week scheduleas our MFG Techs. (Week 1 M,T,F,S / Week 2 Su, W, Th).
Run lines/ automation - will be operating machines vs.hand filling
Forklift experience
GMP experience (preferred)
2 round interviews: virtual and then on-site
Key Accountabilities: Supports operational functions,provides technical guidance, assists with the implementation of improvements,and works on departmental projects in order to
ensure department and corporate objectives are satisfied.
Candidates Profile
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Desirable: High school course work in chemistry or 6 monthschemistry related work experience
Work Experience
2-4 years packaging experience preferred but notrequired.
Job specific Competencies & Skills
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to operate powered industrial equipment andperform hand weighing operations. Also able to setup and run drum massager,delumper, filling machine, capper, automated labeler, and other ergonomicequipment.
Knowledge of product flow throughout the packagingprocess.
Ability to effectively communicate in a professionalmanner with all levels of staff both orally and written.
Ability to work in a group setting.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly and adjust to changing prioritiesin a fast-pace environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving and team building skillswith the ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Participates in and supports the development andimplementation of process improvement projects and leads test cycles tochallenge current practices, improve system efficiency, enhance customerservice, and maintain compliance
Troubleshoot problems within the department
Demonstrates working knowledge of department operatingsystems.
Maintains orders, work areas and stock locations in asafe, clean, and organized manner.
Reports unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to anymember of management
Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned
Exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule
Environmental Conditions:
General Office Environment: Noise level in officeenvironment is generally quiet.
Packaging Environment:
Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. Isregularly required to wear appropriate protective gear, (hard hats,glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes, respirator)and other personal protection equipment PPE to protect themselves from toxicor corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborneparticles. The work area may occasionally be wet, humid, abnormally hot orcold.
Physical Requirements:
If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit,stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must viewcomputer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are closevision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be requiredto lift, generally no more than 55 pounds.
If performing warehouse/distribution duties:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee isregularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel,twist, or crouch for long periods of time. The employee must be able to talk,hear, taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift 55 pounds and/or move300%2B pounds without additional employee assistance. Employee may be required tomove more than 300%2B pounds with assistance. Specific vision requirements ofthis job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheralvision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly usesmanufacturing equipment, powered industrial equipment, phones, computers,computer monitors and all office/laboratory equipment.
