About the Job
Willert Home Products is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our St. Louis Manufacturing Plant team.
Our Maintenance Technicians support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment throughout the plant in a safe and orderly manner. The individual will be expected to learn the operation of each production line, which includes high-speed filling and packaging machinery.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Industrial breakdown maintenance experience (packaging equipment experience preferred)
- Experience working on 110V - 480V AC, wiring panels, breakers, and laying conduit
- Electronics experience that includes PLC and troubleshooting
- Mechanical experience including cam & switches, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum pumps, fabricating and conveyors.
- Welding experience on Stick, MIG and TIG
- Milling and lathe experience preferred, but not required
- Complete knowledge of a Lock Out, Tag out program
Desired Education and Skills:
- A two year technical degree is preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional mechanical aptitude is a must.
- 4+ years industrial maintenance experience.
- Critical thinking.

- Innovation: a desire to design and fabricate parts to help increase plan productivity.
- Flexibility: willingness to change assignments when a line goes down.
- Highly motivated, self-directed worker that is able to work autonomously in a fast paced and often loud production environment.

PLEASE NOTE:
We are a Union shop and shift assignments are based on seniority. All employees must be able to work any shift. Shift times are 6:30am-2:30pm (1st shift), 2:30pm-10:30pm (2nd shift), 10:30pm-6am (3rd shift).
