Industrial Maintenance Technician Second Shift Essential Functions/Duties - Execute assigned corrective and preventative maintenance activities
- Apply and comply with quality policy and objectives
- Preparation of LPAs
- Participation in problem-solving (safety, quality, and maintenance)
- Perform general cleaning of all maintenance areas to maintain and comply with 5S
- Modify equipment to support: Safety needs, Quality needs, or Efficiency needs
- Keep accurate records of work performed and downtime of each machine
- Communication with the maintenance team to ensure proper processes are being followed
- Assist in the troubleshooting and programming of PLCs
- Perform facility-related maintenance in general carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical
- Involvement in new projects involving modification or installation of new equipment or machines for production
- Perform all duties safely and environmentally
- Coordinate and follow up on work carried out by suppliers within US5 facilities
- Monitoring and use of documents: US5 - Understand and comply with company EHS policy
- Ensure 5s and Respect HBPOs Austins facility
- Cooperation with Human Resources in dealing with personal matters
- Other duties as assigned
Marginal Function Duties -
Supporting the launch of ISO 450001 and ISP 50001

Ensuring compliance to and participation in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance and ISO 14001 certification

Can stop production, upon notifying the supervisor and Plant Manager of quality-related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair
