Industrial Maintenance Technician - Gpac
Chicago, IL
About the Job
A well-established 20+ year legacy company that manufactures for several industries, including aerospace, auto, and others, is growing!
A bit about the company…
They are a family-oriented, supportive group, and more than accommodating when family issues come up, a team that just comes in and gets it done, Christmas bonuses, company dinners, and other bonuses when key projects go out the door. 40 hours guaranteed, with the potential of some overtime if desired.
They seek an experienced Industrial Maintenance Specialist. The skillset leans toward an “Industrial Electrician” but also, a machine builder: assembling parts, bearings, fan motors and making electrical connections. Also being able to run conduit, pull wire, build an electrical panel, perhaps experience with Honeywell or AB controls. This person does not need to be a PLC programmer or an electrician by degree.
Requirements of the Industrial Maintenance Specialist:
- The candidate must be capable of building electrical panels by schematic, run rigid conduit, and wire controls.
- Must have experience with conduit bending and ability to troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Must be able to start-up, de-bug machines.
- Applicants must be self-motivated and willing to travel max 25%.
Resumes may be sent confidentially to don.alspaugh@gogpac.com.
