Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift! Don't worry, before you go to 2nd shift, you will train on 1st shift for 6 months!
We're seeking a skilled professional to ensure our equipment and facilities run smoothly. You'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial machinery, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. What you'll do:
• Respond to machine breakdowns to reduce technical downtime using mechanical, electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Complete work order requests for improvements and non-breakdown repairs
• Work with the production, engineering and quality teams to improve safety, quality and efficiency throughout the plant
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic devices and pumps
• Obtain parts and services from vendors by completing purchase requisitions and obtaining quotes
• Operate tool room equipment to produce or repair machine parts
• Other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
• High School diploma or GED; secondary education in trade school preferred
• 5-10 years' experience in an industrial maintenance position
• Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• A strong background of machine repair, machining and welding
• Experience with electrical component safety and troubleshooting
• Experience working with drives, motors, heating systems and automated equipment
• Troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley PLC software (Logix 5000)
• Strong customer service attitude
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Computer literacy with Microsoft products
