Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Kellanova Co.

Do you have a natural knack for working with your hands and troubleshooting mechanical components? Join us as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in our San Jose, CA plant. You'll collaborate with an upbeat, hard-working, and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly, and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department! This position pays $31.67 - 40.93 per hour with up to 3 weeks of vacation upon hire and will either be a 2nd (2:45p-10:45p) or 3rd (10:45p-6:45a) shift.

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. At Kellanova, we encourage collaboration with other team members to keep production lines running smoothly. In this role you will acquire proficiency in specialized equipment and automation systems, all while having the chance to pursue certifications or additional training to further enhance your skills

• Conducting Preventative MaintenancePerform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment - your excellence will be the key to keeping production moving smoothly.
• Ensuring Performance EfficiencyManage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and change-overs. You'll facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Following Best PracticesUnderstand, follow and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures and recognized practices. You'll help us keep delivering success, one waffle at a time.

• High school diploma or GED
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting
