Randstad Staffing is HIRING NOW for a Direct Hire Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Rock Island, IL for a national packaging manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. work hours: 2 PM - 10 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and downtime.

• Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.

• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
