Industrial Inspection Project Coordinator - Structural Group, Inc

We are currently recruiting for a Industrial Inspection Project Coordinator to be based in our Hartford, CT office.  As a Project Coordinator, for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating construction project efforts that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer. 

Responsibilities/Qualifications for ideal candidates include:

• Providing support for field team as well as other areas of operations
• Experience in Nondestructive Tests(NDT)- Ultrasonic Thickness (UT) on metal and/or fiberglass, MT testing for welds. 
• Understanding of masonry deterioration mechanisms in corrosive environments & structural analysis.
• Knowledge in reading blue prints and shop drawings
• AutoCad experience preferred. 
• Ability to convey observations with office personnel and plant representatives
• Ability to perform inspections on a tight time frame/ sensitive schedule
• Must be comfortable with working at various heights (structures are typically 600’ to 1000’ in height
• Ability to lead a crew to perform inspections.
• Can articulate inspection findings in report formats
• Working knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices
• Knowledge of branch resources to select the most appropriate resources for specific projects
• Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.  Experience with scheduling software and PROCORE is preferred
• Ability to pass background check & regular drug screening, with valid driver’s license required. 
• Ability travel up to 50% of the time. (Nationwide travel)
• Required certifications: IRATA/ SPRAT, OSHA 10/30, MSHA, TWIC preferred.
