The Role

As a Certified Industrial Hygienist, you will lead the charge in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace while supporting cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Director of EHS, you’ll take ownership of the industrial hygiene function, working hands-on to anticipate, evaluate, and control occupational health hazards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing comprehensive industrial hygiene programs to monitor and control chemical, biological, and physical hazards.
• Conducting air and water monitoring, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Providing expertise to assess new drug manufacturing feasibility, recommending safety controls and protective measures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address workplace hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated professional with the following qualifications:

• Education & Certification

  A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or a related field (Master’s preferred) and CIH certification (highly preferred).

  
  

• Experience

  5+ years in industrial hygiene, ideally in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.

  
  

• Expertise

  In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, exposure banding, and industrial hygiene best practices.

  Analytical problem-solving, strong communication, and the confidence to influence decisions that prioritize safety.
