Industrial Hygienist 1 - Atlas

Job Summary
We are seeking an Industrial Hygienist 1 to join our team. The Industrial Hygienist 1 will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying potential health hazards in the workplace, and developing strategies to mitigate risks to employee health and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree Preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in field work relating to industrial hygiene services, indoor air quality, and hazardous building materials preferred.
• Additional experience in lieu of degree considered.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, ability to pass a Driver Background Check, and have reliable transportation.

Technical Requirements:

• Asbestos Inspector/Management Planner/Designer/Monitor licenses preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality and industrial hygiene services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace assessments and surveys to identify potential health hazards.
• Develop and implement programs to control, minimize, or eliminate hazards.
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Provide training on occupational health and safety topics.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to industrial hygiene.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $25.00 an Hour

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
