About the Job
Performs tasks involved in compressor rebuild/repair including tear down, inspection, assembly, miscellaneous machining, metal spraying, and parts cleaning.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Performs tasks to rebuild/repair compressors such as: Compressor tear down, inspection, assembly, miscellaneous machining, metal spraying, parts cleaning.
- Capable of identifying basic machine issues
- Capable of developing a solution to basic machine issues with supervisory support.
- Able to execute simple tests of compressors.
- Performs all work according to customer requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High school or technical school diploma or equivalent
- Elementary specialization
- Semi-skilled – sufficient understanding of operating routines at the novice journeyman level.
- Five years related experience.
- Effective team player
- Basic math skills
- Comprehension of safety rules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Other duties as assigned.
