Industrial Field Service Technician

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Traveling 100% - Time home every 2-3 weeks (weekends). Requires overtime.
Compensation: GSA Per Diem, Travel Pay, Laptop, Cell Phone, and Company Card for expenses.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment: engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Provision of mechanical maintenance information.
• Preparation of mechanical maintenance reports.

Requirements

• Training or apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic or millwright.
• Field experience working on industrial machines, rigging, use of hand and power tools, and reading blueprints.
• Able to effectively communicate through conversation, phone, text, and email.
• Must be able to travel 100%

Skills

• Industrial mechanic – 3 years minimum – Required.
• Industrial troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Office: Office, word, and Excel.
• Blueprints – Metric callouts and assembly drawings.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright or similar.
• 3 years’ experience field industrial service mechanic.
• Food & Beverage industry is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable at heights and confined spaces.
