Step into the role of an Industrial Fabricator Specialist, where you'll bring materials to life by operating essential equipment to cut, thread, and prepare pipe and fittings. This is a hands-on position requiring a deep understanding of fabrication techniques and industry benchmarks.
Industrial Fabrication Responsibilities:
- Precision Cutting: Use rotary chop and band saws to precisely cut pipes to predetermined lengths.
- Dynamic Handling: Strategically move pipes along a table and organize them for the next stages of production.
- Grooving Excellence: Execute grooved pipe end processes using specialized machines.
- Component Threading: Thread pipes with precision using advanced threaders.
- Fitting Application: Employ Mercury or Pace Make on machines to apply fittings effectively.
- Rod Preparation: Cut and grind threaded rods to exacting standards for hanger installation.
- Transportation and Logistics: Ensure efficient movement of pipe bundles and use forklifts as needed.
- Quality Control: Prepare pipe bundles for shipping with pneumatic banders and ensure proper packaging.
- Safety and Compliance: Complete necessary training and adhere to company protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with additional tasks as directed by leadership.
Job Requirements for an Industrial Fabricator Specialist:
- Enthusiastic about learning new techniques in manufacturing.
- A minimum of half a year in a multitasking production environment, balancing time-sensitive projects.
- Foundational welding experience is preferred, with certification potential.
- Proficient in basic arithmetic and skilled in reading tape measures accurately.
