Responsibilities - Plan, design and implement manufacturing improvement processes.- Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, work flow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.- Perform time studies to develop line balancing for the manufacturing line.- Create and implement programs for volume demand increases.- Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.- Ensure the manufacturability of new and exiting products by participating in the product design and development process.- Identify and implement programs to improve the manufacturability and reliability of products.- Support manufacturing operations including the training of production operators regarding new equipment/processes.- Support installation, qualification, and validation of new and existing equipment and processes.- Develop Work Instructions using our PLM Software.- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Tools. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 0-2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.- Strong computer skills.- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with the ability to communicate engineering concepts to non-engineers.- Knowledge of engineering principles, practices and techniques.
