Your Key Responsibilities
- Create Product Costing for new automotive products and systems considering materials, processes, labor, overhead, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather cost data and ensure accuracy in the costing process.
- Support PPA (Product Profitability Analysis) Creation by providing detailed cost analysis.
- Analyze production location options and recommend optimal manufacturing locations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement design for manufacturing recommendations for new and existing products.
- Assess the regional product footprint to identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement.
- Propose ideas to enhance cost efficiency through the integration of local and global business operations.
- Evaluate machine and plant layouts to optimize production efficiency and minimize resource requirements.
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
Your Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
- 2+ years of production engineering or related experience.
- Solid understanding in industrial manufacturing processes.
Preferred
- Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results.
- Experience of working in a high-paced automotive manufacturing environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions.
