Industrial Engineer - 0542-D - Design Systems, Inc.

Skills and Experience:

• Must have 8 or more years of industrial/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Knowledgeable in material systems, material planning, and analyzing PFEP data.
• Knowledge of warehouse space optimization strategies.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
• Must know 2D AutoCAD; Microsoft Access knowledge is preferred.

Job Duties:

• Develop material handling processes, the related layouts, and the labor requirements.
• Develop material storage area layouts and perform the related data analysis.
• Develop 2D AutoCAD layouts to optimize storage space and workstation requirements.
• Follow-up and achieve buy-off on concepts, layouts.
• Develop facilities requirements.
• Oversee implementation and provide plant support.

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office (8 years)
• AutoCAD (8 years)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree - Industrial Engineering
