Industrial Electrician jnf
Our new wage range for the positions is $20-$30 per hour.
For less experienced applicants we would aim for $20-$25.
More experienced would be $25-$30.
The specific rate offered would be dependent on the individual’s skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary to support the business.
· Install and wire electrical components according to electrical blueprints and engineering department specifications
· Calibrate and debug components of large machinery electrical systems
· Work with engineering department in testing and improving designs to meet unique customer requirements
· Understanding of applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
· Participate in process improvement projects
Qualifications

· Preferred associate degree in electronics, or technical school equivalent, and three to five years’ experience; or a combination of education and experience
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics
· Ability to communicate effectively with manufacturing and administrative teammates
· Ability to apply basic concepts of math and algebra
· Manage multiple priorities simultaneously; keep cool under pressure
· Experienced and comfortable using hand tools (drills, taps, benders, hole punches, bandsaws, grinders, etc.)

It is expected that shop staff collaborate with office employees on a regular basis. Environment is that consistent with expectations in an industrial environment with some dirt, oil, and noise. The noise level in both work environments is usually moderate.
