About the Job
onemi is seeking an Industrial Electrician Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, this is for a position that is primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance duties of the campus electrical systems in a semiconductor FAB. This position will also be required to perform a variety of facilities preventative and corrective maintenance activities in the areas of general building maintenance, plumbing, fire protection systems. Has a strong understanding of facilities plant maintenance and operation.
Responsibilities include:
+ Maintain, operate, and repair facilities systems and equipment according to specifications. This includes general building maintenance and other tasks assigned.
+ The primary function will be to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including; Electrical switchgear and distribution systems in the medium and low voltage ranges, FLS systems, PLC and DCS control systems, and electro-mechanical systems.
+ Ensure systems are operating within specified parameters and respond to alarms accordingly.
+ Works with manufacturing on repairs to facilities infrastructure and other services to FAB tools and equipment.
+ Responsible to plan, identify and procure parts for repairs and preventive maintenance.
+ Makes periodic or special inspections (R&R) of the premise and equipment to determine equipment status and repair as necessary.
+ Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
+ Locates and leverages all types of equipment documentation.
+ Maintains and updates electrical documentation, software, programs, and operational parameters.
+ Solicit competitive bids when necessary to obtain fair pricing for parts and services.
+ Utilize CMMS software to schedule preventive and unscheduled maintenance.
