Immediate opportunity is available for a talented Electrician who want to become part of the Johnson Controls team. Our Electricians handle electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance of industrial machinery, in accordance with local and National electrical codes. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems and possess effective problem-solving skills. Electricians install and repair electrical and some electronic systems and components of industrial machinery and equipment.

What You Will Do:
- Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
- Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning components of industrial machinery such as transformers, motors, light fixtures, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
- Identifies and resolves electrical malfunctions through testing, diagnosing, and collaborating with critical stakeholders in maintenance and department leaders.
- Replaces faulty electrical components of industrial machines such as relays, circuit boards, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.
- May diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
- Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires power to motors.
- Plans electrical wiring layout and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
- Diagnoses and replaces faulty electrical/mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
- Other duties, as assigned.
What We Look For (MUST HAVE)
- Minimum three years’ experience working with 480w industrial electrical systems.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of local and national electrical codes and standard practices.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime, which may include weekends.
- Must be willing to adhere to safety standards, such as wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Experience reading sketches, schematics, and diagrams, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
What will put you ahead (NICE TO HAVE)
- HS Diploma or GED or five years’ experience working with 480w industrial electrical systems.
- Certificate from accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
- Journeyman or master electrician license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy steel materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
- Ability to stand, bend, stair climb, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Capability to work in various industrial conditions (e.g., noise, heat, etc.)
