The Automation Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of projects, providing overall direction of projects, Project sizes will typically range from $1,000 to $10.0M. The Automation Project Manager estimates project costs, must possess excellent communication and project management skills when interfacing with clients, and team members..

 Automation Project Manager Job Description:

• Working knowledge of industrial controls, design, finance, and project management.
• Technical writing skills; noting controls proposal documents, scope of work documents, and client presentations 
• Experience in Job Costing and Tracking.
• Detailed knowledge base of industrial control estimating methods in areas including Electrical Schematic Design, Panel Fabrication, PLC Programming, and HMI Programming.
• Coordinate and manage automation projects – includes reporting and accountability of schedule, budget, project performance, and quality.
• Required Travel: Up to 30%

 Automation Project Manager Qualifications/Skills:

• 4-year college degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years in Automation or a related field is required
• Attention to detail
• Solid presentation and software technology skills
• Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical design software, Rockwell Automation Software, and other related software.
