In this role you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing automated systems to ensure efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, automation technologies, and possess expertise in working with various industrial equipment.
As the Industrial Automated Technician, you would be part of a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a rapidly growing and diversified commercial product portfolio and contract development and manufacturing organization platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems in industrial environments.
• Implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Configure and maintain Allen Bradley RS Logix systems for seamless operation.
• Proficient in microtech, G-code, 407 AD, and 407 AC programming languages.
• Knowledgeable in PowerFlex technology for motor control and drives.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and fabrication tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ability to work with multi-craft teams to address complex technical issues.
Requirements:
• Food or beverage a plus
• 5 plus years of experience, training or a technical degree!
• IT TECHNICAL experience
• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial automation technologies and methodologies
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley RS Logix programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of multi-craft operations in industrial settings.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced maintenance and electrician duties, an
understanding of solid-state circuitry and various electrical systems, as well as the ability to
use electrical schematics, diagnose problems with programmable controllers, and operate
electrical testing and machining equipment.
• Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to work with various
hand and power tools, machining and fabrication skills (e.g., welding, soldering, grinding,
drill press, lathe, mill operation), and an advanced understanding of hydraulic and
pneumatic systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with microtech, G-code, 407 AD, and 407 AC programming languages.
• Experience with PowerFlex technology for motor control and drives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification or training in industrial automation systems.
• Prior experience in PM fabrication and maintenance.
