Draper, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a degreed Industrial Athletic Trainer. The primary responsibilities and minimum qualifications are listed below.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist employees with industrial and/or office ergonomics and work center analysis.
- Support employees through wellness programs, ergonomics, body mechanics, industrial sports medicine, physical therapy, safety, injury prevention, and behavioral ergonomics.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all components of workplace injury management and health improvement programs for employees.
- Assess workplace injuries and evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries or illnesses. Provide preventative, therapeutic, emergency, and rehabilitative care.
- Collect multi-area data reviews and consolidate reports.
- Partner with management by bringing unsafe conditions and behaviors to management's attention and potentially participating in developing solutions.
- Help reduce the overall OSHA TRIR rate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree is preferred.
- BOC certification.
- Indiana ATC License.
- Certified/Licensed AT or PTA.
- CPER certified. Certified to teach classes is preferred.
- 2 years' experience in an industrial setting or 5 years' experience in a professional setting.
- Strong communication skills.
