This 1099 contractor position offers licensed mental health counselors, social workers or child psychologists the opportunity to work independently while benefiting from administrative support. As a 1099 contractor, you will practice within our supportive framework, including the availability of a therapeutic space or providing the direct service through tele-health capacities. Our innovative practice model allows providers to focus on patient care while our administrative teams provide full support handling billing, credentialing and scheduling for children and families.

- Independent Contractor Status: You'll work as a self-employed professional, responsible for your own taxes and business decisions
- Flexible Work Arrangement: You set your own schedule and choose how you work, whether in-person or via telehealth
- Client Sourcing: You have the option to bring your own clients or receive client referrals from us
- Workspace Options: We provide a therapeutic space for in-person sessions or support telehealth capabilities for remote work
- Compensation Structure: Your earnings will be based on a flat fee percentage of the revenue generated from your services. This arrangement allows you to directly benefit from your productivity while we cover overhead costs.
- Business Independence: As a 1099 contractor, you'll have the freedom to make your own business decisions, including setting your schedule, clients based on your expertise and managing your professional development
- Tax Responsibilities: You'll be responsible for paying your own self-employment taxes, as we do not withhold taxes from your payments
- Expert Team: Allows you access to staff cases for support and guidance with medical doctors and child psychiatrists
- Administrative Support: We handle credentialing, scheduling, and billing, allowing you to focus on providing therapy and meeting the individual needs of your client’s therapeutic goals.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions with youth diagnosed with chronic illness to address specific psychological disorders, to improve overall functioning and adjustment to medical condition, and to increase compliance with medical recommendations, in person AND/OR via tele-health
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely client records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention as needed.
• Coordinates care with other state agencies, schools, and behavioral health agencies, as needed.
• Maintains appropriate documentation of clinical evaluations and interventions.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance according to federal guidelines.
Education, License or certification
• Licensure is required: LCSW, LMHC, PhD, LPC, LMFT, PsyD
• Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution. The program must consist of at least 60 semester hours of clinical and didactic instruction
Qualifications:
• Experience and skill working with pediatric patients at risk for and/or diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Ability to provide mental health assessments and therapy/counseling services to patients, treatment planning, brief therapy, trauma-focused, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral or equivalent; monitor patient’s progress and the effectiveness of medication as directed by the physician
• Specialized training/experience with assessment and treatment planning Knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. Advanced study of mental health assessment.
• Knowledge of regulations and laws relating to clinical psychology/social work practices.
• Ability to fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal and state mandated forms, client diagnostic records, and progress reports and maintains confidentiality of patient records
• Knowledge of community mental health service delivery systems and other resources.
• Ability to work sensitively with variety of personalities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with families, colleagues (e.g. physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other team members), community agencies, etc.
• Understanding of principles of legal documentation and medical records release of information.
• Working knowledge of basic computer software programs: MS Office and EMR.

Compensation: Earnings will be based on a flat fee percentage of the revenue generated from your services.
