Overview:
Our client, a well-established and reputable real estate firm in Miami, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Attorney with a focus on commercial real estate transactions to join their growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, particularly with at least 3 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and handle a diverse and challenging range of legal matters in the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents related to commercial real estate, including purchase agreements, leases, and loan documents.
- Provide legal advice to clients on real estate investment, development, and regulatory matters.
- Assist with title and survey review, zoning issues, and land use regulations.
- Work closely with other legal professionals, including paralegals, real estate brokers, and external counsel, to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, including reviewing contracts, title reports, and environmental assessments.
- Manage and resolve legal issues related to real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Represent clients in negotiations and provide strategic advice to facilitate favorable outcomes.
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide effective legal counsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Florida State Bar.
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactional law, including but not limited to acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financing.
- Strong understanding of real estate law, contract law, and relevant legal regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
