Job Summary and Qualifications
The Implementation Manager will work with the Project Manager and Corporate Credentialing Operations to ensure successful implementations related to Parallon Credentialing Services’ acquisitions, migrations and divestitures and other credentialing related projects.
In this role, you will:
- To ensure a smooth transition to operations, the implementation manger will:
- Collaborate with representatives from IT&S, Project Services, Professional Practice Advancement, Subject Matter Experts, Corporate Credentialing Operations, Credentialing Processing Center Leadership, Division, Facility and other Client Leadership and Staff (Client)
- Perform a detailed assessment of current practices and business needs of the client
- Perform data analysis and Summarize key findings
- Prepare for weekly project team meetings and Conduct follow-up
- Facilitate project team meetings
- Run project specific data reports on demand
- Prepare written summary reports for project team and executives
- Prepare and Maintain project documentation as well as templates and processes for use by the project team
- Ensure client education occurs and Engage in one-on-one training with client related to key tasks and/or credentialing services
- Escalate issues and risks to the Corporate Credentialing Implementation Manager and AVP
- Ensure the proper mapping of client practitioner information to the enterprise credentialing system
- Oversee the user acceptance and parallel testing process
What qualifications you will need:
- BA/BS degree, preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare credentialing (i.e., healthcare facility, managed care setting, credentials verification organization, or Medical Staff Office), required.
- Detailed working knowledge of practitioner types and privileging, required.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing multiple projects and programs to successful completion, preferably in a credentialing services environment.
- Experience with software used to maintain credentialing operations, preferred.
- Experience with credentialing accreditation by The Joint Commission or National Committee for Quality Assurance, preferred.
- Detailed working knowledge of the health care and credentialing industry, including medical-legal issues and laws, regulatory agencies, and other national standards, preferred
- Experience with large-scale system implementations, preferred.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and works well in both individual and group environment.
- NAMSS Certification (CPCS and/or CPMSM), preferred
