SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation Data Analysts are aligned with VMS/MSP implementations to bridge the gap between configuration requirements, data gathering and validation, data upload, and user acceptance testing. Additionally, the Implementation Data Analyst (IDA) will be responsible for implementation support including data audits, system admin support and billing support before and after a program go-live. The IDA is aligned to a new implementation or project migration at project kick-off and may participate in discovery-related activities to outline necessary data alignment. This role is responsible for data gathering and alignment through user testing and go-live support through project close-out. The ideal candidate works closely with their fellow project team members to act as a subject-matter expert for the data work stream.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (for each duty and function listed indicates % of time to total 100%):
- Participates in internal and external Kick-off meetings and implementation discovery calls to obtain program requirements and client expectations, identifying risks and topics affecting configuration and data requirements. (10%)
- Wholly responsible for data collection and ensuring data alignment to the approved configuration summary requirements. (40%) This involves client-facing discussions to obtain necessary data elements, identify and fix discrepancies, and help solution for problems. Prepare files to contain data for upload into various vendor management solution programs, which involves data scrubbing within Excel using various formulas and comparing different data sets to validate for accuracy. Data collection specifics include system setup requirements involving large volumes of data including the following:
- Foundational data including job titles, descriptions, rates, user information, billing data, relationship tables, shift setup, pay tables, supplier setup information, billing codes, markups, pay codes.
- Worker census data for various types of workers including but not limited to contingent workers, non-employees, independent contractors, statement of work contracts.
- Support go-live activities including system admin and billing support. (30%) This may include:
- Manual system and or data buildouts
- Preparing and coordinating additional data loads
- Performing audits on system data to ensure correct data alignment.
- Serves as additional resource and subject matter expert for onsite team for system issues and system administration needs.
- Continuously strive for seamless and error-free implementations.
- Administer User Acceptance testing both internally and client-facing. (20%) This involves:
- Identifying testing elements to align with configuration
- System readiness setup for testers
- Test script validation and preparation
- Live testing demonstration for both internal and client-facing testing
- Monitor testers during test period, troubleshoot tester issues, re-test fails or questions
- Testing all elements of configuration and system scenarios, including negative testing, workflow testing, assist with integration testing, single sign on, etc.
- Preparing audit documentation for tech team, reviewing, and troubleshooting system anomalies, identify and manage system corrections, identifying opportunities for training with client and internal team.
- Staging system data for client testing as well as producing test invoices.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Act as a consultant between Client Services Teams with migrations, change requests, data requirements therein. (5-10%)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read, understand and extrapolate information from project schedules.
- Must be able to read, understand and extrapolate information from contracts.
- Must be able to perform basic level math functions.
- First-hand knowledge of systems implementations highly desirable.
- Must be able to understand requirements-gathering process as well as translate configuration summaries into data requirements.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED/ #OF STAFF:
This position has no immediate supervisory responsibilities
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS (written & verbal):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are highly required.
- Must be able to understand technical documentation and translate the information into data requirements.
- Must be fluent in English. Written and verbal fluency with additional languages desired.
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus, professionalism, team orientation and technical proficiency.
- Must have well-developed problem-solving abilities.
- Strong customer-service skills, ability to convey confidence and professionalism when interacting with clients.
- Strong writing and documentation skills necessary.
- Works well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert-level knowledge of the AccelerationVMS system preferable.
- Intermediate or working knowledge of 3rd party VMS systems preferred (Fieldglass, Beeline, Wand, etc.).
- Intermediate or working knowledge of MS Suite, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Projects, and prior use/experience in using MS Teams and/or Zoom for meetings, presentations, recording trainings.
- Working level knowledge of Visio.
- Experience with test scripts and/or testing software such as Testpad preferred.
- Strong Excel skills required:
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy within large data sets
- Create pivot tables
- Ability to use formulas such as Vlookups, Concatenate, If statements, conditional formatting, comparison formulas such as countifs and Exact as well as formulas involving math to add/multiply/remove markups or specific values, formulas to isolate specific values from a given data set, etc.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to work autonomously and with very little direction.
- Strong attention to detail as well as a resourceful approach to problem-solving required.
- Must have an understanding of project management and team delivery – preferably as part of a project team – or a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once, while staying very organized across projects/deliverables.
- Ability to attend multiple meetings / juggle demands of meetings versus individual work.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree desired.
