Immigration Paralegal - Greenlight Path

About the Job
Our fast-growing immigration law firm is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Immigration Paralegal to join our team as an independent contractor. This position is a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US immigration law and a proven track record of handling a wide range of cases, including family based cases, investment-related visas, business expansion visas, extraordinary ability visas, performance visas, employment-based green cards, TN visas for Canadians, temporary stay visas (DS-160), citizenship cases, and asylum cases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and file various immigration forms and petitions with USCIS, DOS, and other government agencies
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents, and provide updates on case progress
- Research and analyze immigration laws, regulations, and policies to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support during client meetings and interviews
- Utilize case management software (Docketwise) and customer support platform (Zendesk) to streamline processes and enhance client experience
Requirements:
- Experience as a paralegal in a similar role
- Experience handling immigration cases
- Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Previous experience working with Zendesk and Docketwise is a plus
