Job Description:
This role is responsible for supporting the overall GMP materials control/warehousing operations for BWI / Cavalier facility. The position requires practical experience and knowledge of a variety of activities such as materials receipt/quarantine/release, logistical support in a manufacturing facility, electronic inventory control.
Shift: Day and Night Shift (7-7) 12 HR Shift - Rotating schedule 2-2-3
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support receiving activities.
- Store, transfer and distribute material according to specific material requirements.
- Point of contact for moving material
- Maintain WH organized.
- Will participate in the receipt of all GMP materials (GMP and accounting).
- Compile and maintain inventory records.
- Takes receipt and inventory control.
- Works under general supervision to meet P2P project goals.
- Works closely with P2P researcher and WH receiver receive and release all GMP materials in a timely manner.
- Participation in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse will be critical.
- Will work closely with various departments and WH in MD
- Working closely with various departments and aids as needed
Experience & Education:
- High School Diploma with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience with warehousing operations
- Familiarity with general safety practices
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting moderately heavy boxes, prolonged standing, pushing gas tanks, etc.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. is required.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Experience with electronic inventory control systems as well as MS Outlook and Excel
- Documented training (certification) of hazardous materials
- Mature professional capable of independent work
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. is required
- Forklift driver is a plus.
