Job Details:
Are you passionate about making a significant difference in people's lives by using your imaging tech skills? Our healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and professional Imaging Technologists with expertise in MRI, Mammography, Radiology, Cardio Vascular, CT, and more. As an integral part of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including MRI, mammography, and other radiology equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
2. Assist radiologists during procedures, ensuring the efficient execution of imaging tests.
3. Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to ensure the wellbeing of patients and staff.
4. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
5. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
6. Maintain patient records, including imaging data and relevant medical history.
7. Participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in imaging technology.
8. Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Imaging Technologist, with a focus on MRI, Mammography, or related field.
2. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
3. Additional certifications such as Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA), Certified MRI Technician, Registered Technologist (RTR), RTCT, RTM, CNMT, or equivalent are preferred.
4. Proficient knowledge of Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques and procedures.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7. Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining patient confidentiality.
8. Demonstrated ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment.
