We are looking for an Imaging Specialist to join our Art Studio Development Team. This role focuses on pre-production tasks such as scanning, digital file onboarding, and creating original files. You’ll collaborate with the Art Development and Production Teams to produce high-quality visuals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple projects, and understands the product development cycle.
In This Role
- Collaborate with the Art Development Director and Specialists to produce and manage high-quality image files
- Support the intake and review of new artist and customer images, ensuring consistency and quality in all submissions
- Execute daily tasks to streamline Art Development and Production processes, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow
- Optimize image files for print, maintaining vibrant colors and achieving precise results
- Prepare detailed proofs for internal reviews while managing color accuracy and maintaining precise color management protocols
- Adapt and modify files to meet specific product requirements, creating necessary documentation for production
- Utilize Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems to organize, track, and efficiently manage image files
- Create customized print files tailored to production orders, ensuring all specifications are met
- Leverage Excel to manage and analyze data related to new art files and maintain an organized image library
- Maintain color consistency and print quality by adhering to established printer profiles and prepress standards
- Perform prepress tasks such as scanning, file setup for print and web, and preparing customer files for production
- Develop compelling visual concepts and layouts for both digital and print materials, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Foster clear and effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects and alignment with team objectives

The Ideal Person
- 2+ years of experience in fine art printing, color profiles, and prepress tasks such as file setup, color management, and print optimization required
- Bachelor's Degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for high-quality digital and print artwork, color accuracy, and production file preparation
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experienced in managing competing priorities with a sense of urgency
