Compensation: $93,000-123,000 Annual Salary + Incentives
About The Role
As a Clinical Outreach Manager, you will be instrumental in managing referrals from initial call, through the admissions process and into treatment. Your performance will be aligned with our company's strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), emphasizing both qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
Your expertise in understanding various treatment modalities and levels of care, particularly relating to substance use and co-occurring disorders among adolescents and young adults, will enable you to educate and inform patients, families, and community members about the valuable services Sandstone Care offers. Strong and effective communication skills will be important in delivering compelling presentations to key groups from hospitals to private practices, non-profits and schools to community partners and agencies to solidify and expand our referral base.
This role requires frequent local travel to engage with partners and attend pivotal meetings, enabling you to maintain and build essential contacts within the community. You will also manage precise documentation of referral source activity and assist in discharge planning to ensure continuum of care, adhering to set expense guidelines and reporting protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with key referral partners.
- Create a territory plan that balances existing referral partnerships with developing new ones.
- Skillfully manage the admissions process to convert general inquiries into admissions, with performance measured against monthly companywide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Understand treatment modalities, levels of care, and industry best practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
- Educate patients, families, the community, and other referral sources about the programs, services, and amenities our facility provides.
- Deliver effective presentations to hospitals, private practices, schools and pertinent agencies.
- Conduct facility tours and community events to increase brand awareness and build referral network.
- Frequently travel within the community to attend meetings and develop referral partners.
- Assist the clinical team with discharge planning by identifying and contacting appropriate facilities for care transfer when necessary.
Education Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing and/or behavioral health science is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience working in the Mental Health or Behavioral Health space preferred
- Previous experience in marketing and / or outreach preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Power Point, Word, and Excel preferred
- Ideal candidates are highly self-motivated, very organized, personable, and outgoing
